Interior Designer
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 9am - 6:30pm
Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
Salary: $2500 - $3500
Responsibilities:
Space Planning and Design:
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for our corporate offices and retail boutiques.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand space requirements and constraints.
Conceptualization and Visualization:
- Create detailed mood boards, color schemes, and design presentations for approval.
- Utilize 3D modeling software to provide visual representations of proposed designs.
Material and Furniture Selection:
- Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture that align with the company's brand image and design goals.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of selected materials.
Budget Management:
- Work closely with the project management team to develop and manage budgets for interior design projects.
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising on design quality.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
- Provide guidance and support to the construction team during the implementation phase.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the design vision is executed accurately and meets quality standards.
- Address any design-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
Trend Research and Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design solutions.
- Integrate new and creative ideas into the design process to keep our spaces fresh and appealing.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D/3D modeling software, and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and material selection.
