Logistic Coordinator

To work within the Warehouse team, to ensure smooth running of the warehouse and all deliveries entering and leaving the company, whilst providing excellent customer service at all times.


Main Role Accountabilities

1.

General Duties

· Monitor the receipt, booking in and dispatch of all Cargo/Goods and record data in accordance with working procedures.

· Ensure all goods received are booked into the company within a timely manner and record data as necessary.

· Load and off-load vehicles in a timely manner and assist with labeling and palletizing.

· Respond to operational staff/customer queries.

· Deal with Inventory requirements, logging incoming and outgoing shipments that are stored in our warehouse.

· Ensuring regular audits are carried out on the inventory held in the warehouse.

· Keep the warehouse tidy and organized.

· Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant transport laws and procedures and restrictions.

· Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor to identify any changes in work instructions and/or processes where appropriate, thus providing reliant handling of Cargo/Goods.

· To undertake duties in accordance with defined processes and work instructions.

Customer Focus

· Be polite and respond positively at all times to customers/colleagues.

· Respond to operational staff/customer queries.

· Always wear supplied Company B&H uniform, maintaining a smart and professional appearance at all times.

· Wear your company identity card at all times.

3.

Personal Compliance/Health & Safety

· Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment.

· Be aware of the standards expected in respect of the job, attendance, timekeeping and behaviour and the standards set out in the handbook and the HR Policy Manual.

· Adhere to the company Health and Safety Policy, Dress Code policy.

· Make sure you understand and adhere to any existing policy changes or any new policies.

4.

Personal Development

· Complete annual appraisals in line with B&H standards with the Line Manager.

· Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames and refresher courses are completed prior to the expiry date.

Key Skills and Attributes

- Work pro-actively using own initiative. Proven communication skills both written and verbal.

- Computer literate

Qualifications and Experience

- Forklift Training and Previous industry experience
