JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our centre’s facilities, infrastructure, gallery/exhibitions, attractions, and venue spaces.
Plan and manage all maintenance and operational support matters to ensure availability of exhibits and essential services for daily operations of the Centre/Museum.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain a high standard of functionality, safety, security, landscaping, and cleanliness of the Centre/Museum.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the management of facilities / infrastructure (including Sustainability initiatives), Business Continuity, Term Contracts, Workplace health and fire safety Management, Security, Operations of centre, Exhibitions, attractions, and venue spaces.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the entire centre inclusive of exhibitions, galleries, attractions, and venue spaces.
- Lead and guide a team of technicians, executives, and outsourced term contractors on daily facilities management operations.
- Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of critical equipment and systems to minimize disruption to centre operations.
- Assess, plan, and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and execute M&E projects within the organization i.e. Retrofitting of existing premises, fitting out of spaces, implementation of sustainability related initiatives.
- Liaise with government agencies and statutory boards on regular audits, project management & development and other facilities related issues. Liaise with internal stakeholders on all facilities, attractions, gallery related issues.
- Management of budget, tender documents, procurement for facility operations and maintenance. Plan, formulate and manage operating and capital budgets. Follow through the tender, evaluation and recommendation of service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management to ensure works are carried out in accordance to planned schedules, budget, and approved specifications.
- Support exploration and implementation of projects related to digitization of SMART and Green FM.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in, Engineering / Building / Facilities / Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Operations, Facilities and Project Management.
- Good knowledge of government procurement procedures, building & statutory regulations, and requirements.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Familiar with Singapore’s regulatory requirements pertinent to building, environment, and safety standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to conduct professional presentations.
- SCEM, FSM & GMFM certification will be an added advantage.
