YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Relationship Management / Account Servicing / Leadership
- Responsible for client relationship management and business retention for Corporate Risk business
- Contribute to team sales targets whilst overseeing a portfolio of accounts
- Coach and mentor junior brokers on efficient account management and effective client relationship management.
- Provide guidance to team members, prevent erosion of relationship with clients and intervene when necessary.
- Collaborate with other divisions and identify cross-selling opportunities, leveraging on in-depth knowledge of internal service and product offerings, market trends and developments against the business requirements of individual accounts.
- Develop trusting relationships with clients and insurers
- Foster a cohesive and collaborative team culture within the division as well as across the company
- Work in partnership amongst team members for different job functions involving Business Development, Placement and Operations for day-to-day tasks as well as specific projects such as internal / external audits, business strategy planning, etc.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Someone who is resilient, possess high adversity quotient and can turn obstacles into opportunities
- Enjoys working with people and building relationships with people
- Meticulous but mindful of deadlines
- Experienced in Major Corporate insurance classes with a minimum of 8 years in an insurance broking firm or similar capacity
- Experienced in managing a team will be ideal
- Experienced in MNC accounts and/or handling tenders
- A diploma / degree holder in any discipline and/or professional insurance qualifications, i.e. ACII, DGI or BCP, PGI, ComGI Certifications
- Sound knowledge & good understanding of local statutory insurance requirements
