Connect Energy is expanding and we are looking for the following to join our Singapore office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial activities and month end closing of the Company.
- Prepare and review of monthly/periodic management reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for Intercompany financial & transactional reconciliation.
- Cashflow management.
- Prepare monthly consolidated accounts & financial forecast.
- Support group reporting team for management reporting matters.
- Contractor’s payroll management.
- Assist in the preparation of forecast and budget.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on finance related matters.
- Review of tax computations, GST returns and liaise with tax agents on the tax matters of the Company.
- Liaise with external auditors and corporate secretary to support audit, and other statutory requirements.
- Review the internal controls, implement policies and procedures in accordance with the changing requirements of the company and ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with local and regional business systems implementations and process improvements
- Participate in the new system migration and testing
- Any ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Detailed and meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight datelines
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- At least 4-5 years of experience as Accountant
- Proactive, engaging and hands-on
- Driven, able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
