Global Account Manager (Security Solutions)

Our client is a top total security solutions provider and is seeking for a experienced highly motivated Global Account Manager in the APAC region to join our dynamic sales team. The successful incumbent should have a proven track record of success in working with global SIs to deliver complex IT solutions to multinational clients.

You will be instrumental in fostering relationships with our Global Key Accounts in Asia (GSI), driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Your goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets, retain high-value global accounts through strategic account management, and identify new business opportunities.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Account Management

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans for key clients, aligning with the company's business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and sales teams within GSI organizations.
  • Be the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally across Asia to ensure potential account knowledge and information is transferred effectively.
  • Develops strategic selling initiatives via GNSI or potential Global accounts for the organization’s products and to maximize profitability and increase market share within account base in the designated geographic areas, Asia.
  • Drives alignment of account and GSI plans for targeted customers, work with the Asia team members for alignment on go-to-market when needed.
  • Drive strategic alliance with GSI across Asia according to strategic plans laid out by Senior Management.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new accounts avenues for growth within Asia region.
  • Expand the company's market presence by acquiring new clients and strategic GSI partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

Solution Selling:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on IP Surveillance technology and solutions, effectively articulating product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
  • Consult with clients to understand their security challenges and recommend appropriate surveillance solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to customize solutions according to client specifications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of our IP Products offerings.

Negotiation and GSI Management:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of pricing, forecast and delivery with clients.
  • Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor GSI performance and proactively address any rollout or delivery issues.
  • Preparations of reports on sales performance, account activities, GSI performance and market trends.
  • Preparations of weekly and monthly forecast sales projections and track progress against targets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on sales data and market analysis.
  • Ensuring Asia partner program is enforced and adhere to.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Sales and Marketing, or any related field.
  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in working with global SIs to deliver complex IT solutions to multinational clients.
  • Individual who has previously worked for global companies with a strong presence in the APAC region.
  • Proven track record of in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the IP Surveillance or physical security industry.
  • Have previously sold solutions directly to end users and system integrators with regional project exposures.
  • Strong understanding of IP technology, surveillance systems, and security solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Results driven individual with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
