Selected candidate will report directly to supervisor and manager. He/ She must demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and trip arrangements as communicated and required.
Job Description
- Responsible to fetch residents back and forth their residence and the Nursing Home safely in Home’s vehicle
- Able to physically assist the wheelchair-bound residents to board and alight the Home's vehicle with care and safety in mind
- Ensure the safety precaution are taken in the course of work
- Assist all departments in dispatch and collection of documents as and when is required
- Conduct general maintenance of the Home's vehicle and in-vehicle equipment to ensure it is clean at all time
- Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain the service and appearance of the vehicle and ensure the fuel is adequate for planned trips
- Report all vehicle repairs, and/or any unsafe or hazardous issues immediately to supervisor
- Assists in the day to day operations
Job requirement
- Minimum PSLE or above
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in reading and using GPS navigation systems along with a clean driving record is required.
- The candidate should be capable of acting as a mobility assistant, assisting wheelchair-bound individuals in boarding vehicles with the wheelchair lift together with care staff.
