Roles and responsibilities:
- Manage high priority projects
- Assist the President in becoming more organized, allowing for greater focus on high-priority tasks
- Assist Commercial group's leaders in navigating uncertainty and mitigating risks
- Thinking partner to the President as well as advisors to department leaders
- Relay information between department leaders within the Commercial group and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization
- Participate in critical Senior Leadership meetings, offering a comprehensive view of performance or issues to SLT and stakeholders, then relay pertinent information to departmental leaders. Work with department leaders to ensure open items are closed
- Deliver analysis and metrics regarding the Commercial group's performance to the leadership team, followed by proposing initiatives aimed at enhancing workflow, teamwork, and the management of metrics goals.
- Establish and define operational metrics for the departments within the Commercial group, subsequently presenting these metrics to the SLT.
- Engage in daily tasks that members of the leadership team may not have the capacity to address, including collaborating with department leaders on project coordination and managing business administration duties.
- Assist the President with scheduling to make the most of their limited time. Duties may be delegated to an executive assistant, if available
- Evaluate the risk, cost, and effort involved in SLT's new initiative or special project, then oversee and guide the endeavor to its conclusion
Requirements:
- Understanding of Traveloka's business and online travel or e-commerce industry
- Strong project manager
- Strong relationships builder
- Effective written and verbal communicator
- Ability to organize and put a structure into the President's office
- Ability to simplify complexity into digestible chunks to help leaders make decision
- A strong strategic thinker and problem solver
- A proven track record of translating an idea to execution
- Ability to anticipate and avert problems
- Ability to grasp abstract concept and add value to the leader’s vision
- High organizational and political intelligence
- Commercial and operational savviness with deep understanding of online retailing business and technology
Qualifications
- At least a combined of 10 years in management consulting and operational management experience, with the last 5 years in online travel or e-commerce companies
- Bachelor's degree in STEM from top university
