Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the project from project kick-off until machine is delivered to customer for production use.
- Responsible for Project planning, design & implementation, management and coordination, and client management.
- Communicate with customers effectively to understand their needs and provide propositions to achieve objectives.
- Responsible for meeting all projects’ objectives including meeting specifications, timeline and budget.
- Involve in all phases of projects from conceptualization to commissioning.
- Responsible for monitoring progress of all projects that are assigned to the team till completion.
- Manage customers’ expectations or changes to requirements and propose solutions and costs when necessary.
- Provide technical advices, communicate and coordinate with department heads on project related information and planning for effective resource allocation.
- Lead and manage a team of assigned consultants or contractors allocated to the project.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Mechanical design knowledge at machine level.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Project Management Software is essential.
- Experience in machine assembly, integration, testing and buyoff processes of Automation Machine
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Engineer
- Candidates should be able to travel and/or be stationed overseas depending on projects requirements.
- Team player who can work well in cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Strong project management, planning and coordination skills.
