The plant in Singapore, located in Jurong island, is new and combines monomer and polymer productions. It is the result of exceptional investments and aims to support strong demand from the customers in Asia.
Main Responsabilités
- Install, service, repair and overhaul basic machineries, pumps, valves, compressors and conveying systems
- Trouble shooting and problem solving on Process Plant Equipment as requested by Operations, or as required due to failures
- Supervise the works carried out by contractors and manage in-house contractor’s team in carrying out plant maintenance involving PTW, RA, LOTOTO, Lifting plan and all safe work procedures
- Carry out routine Monitoring and Maintenance of Process Plant Equipment
- Establish good Preventive maintenance and CBM plan to provide the highest possible availability of all the plant equipment
- Support Mechanical integrity program and Statutory equipment inspection plan
- Report problems and propose possible solutions to supervisor
- Receive instructions, work orders and safety permits for the troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or overhaul equirements of equipment
- Support Engineers for MOC, RCA, Bad actor management, etc.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Behavior based Safety Observations (BBSO), Risk Assessments (RA) on maintenance task
- Work with maintenance planner to keep track of equipment spares and to replenish the spares when needed
- Liaise and coordinate with contractors and external service providers when needed
- Assist with Quality Improvement Projects to facilitate continuous improvement
- 5S and Housekeeping at all times and ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and facility
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
- Good working skill in SAP, MS Office and other software added advantage
- Ability to learn various techniques and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&ID's
- Always ensure and drive safe working culture by practicing and emphasizing on company safety activities and programs
- Construction / Pre-commissioning / Commissioning and start up experience added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good Team player and primarily self-directed with a high degree of self-initiative
