Duty & Responsibilities
- To schedule quality related Internal Audit, GMP Audit and preparation of annual management review meeting.
- Maintain all certified management systems (Quality, Environment, HACCP, Food Safety, Organic, RSPO, SEDEX etc.).
- Maintenance of Kosher certificate and Kosher cert application matters. Handle Kosher audit.
- To coordinate with Training officer to plan annual training/ or awareness on Quality, FSSC, RSPO training to all operational staff.
- Liaise with Purchasing Manager (for sub material) and Trading Manager (raw material) to conduct supplier audit.
- Handle customer's complaint and other quality and food safety related enquiries.
- To review annual contaminant screening results, and preparation of contaminant reports when requested by customers.
- Co-ordinate with Sales Department to handle sales/customers' inquiries such as questionnaires, quality certificates.
- Co-ordinate with Pest Controller for all pest control activities in the company.
- Handle all audits in the company as requested by certifying bodies and customers.
- Review legal register of environmental issues; and ensure timing update to QEMS.
- Implementation of new management system when necessary.
- Issue of PR in relation to external analysis by Certified external laboratory, and to monitor monthly analysis costing.
Requirement
- Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines.
- Minimum 9 years work experience in QA field in edible oils and fats industry
with 4 years of management experience in leading a team. - Familiar/experienced with internal and external aduiting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Good knowledge in Food Safety Management System such as ISO9001, 14001, HACCP, FSSC22000, Kosher, RSPO, etc.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate staff.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skill, positive attitude, teamwork, analytical, communication skill, leadership skill.
