RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute fresh and new internal and external communications campaigns for clients in the tech, government and B2B sectors
- Lead a team of Account Executives and interns on client strategy and servicing
- Communicate with clients to help identify internal goals and communication strategies to accomplish them in a creative and effective manner
- Identify and capitalize on external comms opportunities – we’re looking for someone who understands the local and regional media landscape and what works to get coverage
- Understand integrated comms and the importance of well-written, targeted content that reaches stakeholders
- Identify and capitalize on strategic partnerships with like-minded companies that help to move the needle for all
- Execute and advise on communication strategies and collaboratively develop strategic earned and social media plans
- Establish and deliver analytics reports based on mutually agreed upon metrics
- Coach team members through projects and deliverables, sharing positive and constructive feedback
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience at a PR/communications agency or in an in-house role – experience working on B2B/Corporate clients is a must!
- Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives
- An independent worker who works well on a team and can be proactive and a self-starter
- Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks/accounts and meet deadlines; a quick learner
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Proactive and analytical thinking
