About NETS
The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.
The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 120,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.
The NETS network also accepts NETSPay, UnionPay and BCA cards, and includes 54,000 Unified POS terminals and 96,000 QR acceptance points. NETS is also the issuer of CashCard and FlashPay cards.

Key Responsibilities
- Management of IT Infrastructure servers including Installation, Configuring, hardening and patching of the operating systems(e.g. RHEL, Windows)
- Management of VMware solutions for server virtualization and monitoring.
- Support requests from the users and solve any problems related with the Red Linux servers
- Involved in setting up and configuring new systems, installing and maintaining the application software and coordinating with relevant teams
- Updated with the current knowledge in Linux system and are responsible for evaluating the hardware and software technologies
- Build and support customizations to enhance the efficiency of existing systems
- Involved in designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the computer systems for its test, development and production environment.
- Strong analyzing skill troubleshooting issues that hamper the performance of the system
- Identify the discrepancies in the system, to assess the risks, and to implement solutions by adhering to the security standards
- Writing and modifying scripts for system monitoring if customization are required
- Monitoring and overseeing the System health, Daily backups, Anti-virus solution, etc.
- Added advantage to have hands on experience with Windows, Active Directory, VMWare, Bigfix, SAN Storage management, Zabbix, Silverfort is preferred.
- Good documentation skill of procedures, configurations, programs, etc
- Candidates are required to support audits on a plan routine basis
- Ensure that stakeholders comply with the organization’s policies and procedures while to find innovative ways to optimize systems efficiency and increase productivity thru automation of tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in System Admin role supporting critical system
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Strong technical knowledge in RHEL OS, Microsoft Windows OS, VMware and Active Directory with Red Hat certification is an added advantage
- Technical skills with experience in fast pace, large, complex environments.
- Candidate with banking working experience is an added advantage
- ITIL certification is an added advantage
