- To be responsible for the efficient and accurate conduct of operations of the finance department and to assist with accurate, efficient and effective accounting support.
- Invoice Processing: Receive and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Code invoices with appropriate general ledger accounts and enter them into the accounting system for payment processing.
- Vendor Master Data: Maintain vendor records and ensure all information is up to date. Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Month-end Closing Activities: Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations related to the accounts payable function. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reporting: To ensure that the monthly reports are prepared and submitted a day before the deadline.
- Lead project assignments on internal process improvements and controls.
- Other ad-hoc duties.
