Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and monitoring the project progress
- Ensure that the project progress meets contractual requirements and timely delivery of contractual work-scope within allocated budget and committed project schedule
- Support, review and supervise all project related project documentations
- Liaise and work closely with Clients, Vendors, Procurement & Engineering and Site Construction Team to ensure required progress and effective delivery of contractual commitments
- Coordinate with various project disciplines including procurement & logistic, engineering & design, QA/QC, site construction & safety and testing & commissioning to ensure project goals are met
- Ensure the project adheres to quality standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project
- Prepare progress reports and scheduling reports to Management and Client
- Conduct weekly meetings and prepare minutes of meeting
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
- Review project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role for EPC projects. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for junior roles.
- Planning and project management skills with strong multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards. Also, a sound understanding of safety protocols
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- A strong team player with good time management and organization skills
- Strong analytical (problem solving), critical, and logical thinking skills
- Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels with other disciplines and client
- Willing to be based at construction site
