Key Responsibilities:
Capability Building
- Facilitate the development of small and medium-sized audit practices (SMPs) by conceptualising and executing initiatives to help drive digitalisation, upskilling and internationalisation of SMPs
- Proactively engage SMPs to understand their challenges and needs, identify opportunities for them to grow and help address industry issues
- Identify changes in the industry, including emerging trends and technologies that will affect SMPs
- Build and enhance strategic partnerships with various stakeholders
- Manage the virtual SMP Centre
Outreach and Awareness
- Organise outreach activities to promote awareness and adoption of SMP initiatives
- Organise targeted networking sessions and events for SMPs
- Organise focus group discussions to gather feedback to shape initiatives
- Support major events such as ISCA Conferences
Reporting
- Regular reporting on project status to relevant stakeholders
- Liaise with government agencies for grant support
Requirements:
- A degree in accountancy, business or its equivalent
- Previous working experience in a public accounting firm is a plus
- Current accountant/auditor looking for engagement role will be welcome
- Social media savvy
- Strong writing and presentation abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside ISCA
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented mind with a natural ability to multi-task
- Strong project management abilities
