Job Scope:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging ICT Lessons:Conduct ICT lessons for students from Primary 1 to Primary 6.
Ensure students meet lesson objectives and actively participate.
Adapt quickly to teach new software/tools effectively.
- Strategic Lesson Planning:Collaborate with SH (ICT) to identify school ICT needs.
Develop tailored lesson plans and schemes of work for each level.
Prepare detailed lesson plans to execute effectively.
- Maintain Computer Labs:Ensure cleanliness and organization of computer labs.
Maintain orderliness before, during, and after lessons.
Enhance labs with relevant educational materials.
- Ad-Hoc Coding and Robotics Sessions:Conduct ad-hoc lessons on Scratch or Micro:bit programming.
- Asset Management:Assist in designing an inventory management system using Excel VBA.
Conduct stocktake and maintain records of inventory movements.
- Collaboration and Support:Work closely with the school Desktop Engineer (DE) and ICT Manager.
Support other teaching staff with ICT-related tasks.
Other Tasks:
- Administrative Support:Assist teachers with ICT-related administrative tasks, like online surveys.
- Design and Multimedia:Design posters and banners for school events.
Record and edit photos and videos for various school purposes.
- Examination Support:Assist with administrative tasks during school and national E-Oral examinations.
- Technical Support:Set up PA systems during school assembly sessions.
Capture moments during school events through photography.
Qualifications:
- Certifications:Google G Suite / Workspace Training certification.
Fundamental Python programming certification.
Basic Micro:bit Training certification.
Photoshop/Digital Media skills certification.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience as an ICT Trainer in an MOE school.
- Software Proficiency:Proficient in Apple apps like Clips, Keynote, and iMovie for presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Proficient in Google Suite for Education (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Skilled in video/photo editing with software like Photoshop and PremierPro.
- Technical Skills:Technical photography and videography skills.
Proficient in Scratch for coding lessons.
Proficient in Micro:bit for student training.
- Equipment Handling:Experience with school AV equipment (projectors, visualizers, sound systems).
Familiarity with Apple Device Management System in schools.
