Data Governanace Manager (12 month convertible contract)
Your new role
- Key member of BI COE team, responsible for establishing and maintaing effective data governanace practices.
- Role is ensure integrity, availability and usability of data assets.
- Data Governance Framework: Design and implement frameworks, policies and procedures
- Data Quality Management: Establish data quality standards, metrics, and processes to measure, monitor, and improve the quality of BI data assets.
- Metadata Management: Define and implement a metadata management strategy to capture, organize, and maintain metadata for data assets.
- Data Privacy and Security: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy and security compliance, aligning with relevant regulations and company policies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have at least 10 years of experience with Data Analytics, with Professional certifications in data governance, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, and at least 3+ year in leadership roles
- Experience with Snowflake, Alation and cloud tech stack in general is a plus
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of product management, project management, development processes and agile methodologies (Scrum\Kanban, Product management, DevOps, MLOps)
- Have proven experience in implementing data governance programs in large scale, enterprise organisations.
- Have worked in at least a regional/global level previously
