Responsibilities
- Overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the Safety, Health and Environmental matters in the project.
- Lead and manage a team of safety officers.
- Investigate every incident and develop preventive measures.
- Conduct Risk Assessment control measures.
- Conduct inspections and audits including effective implementation of relevant preventive actions and follow ups
- Conduct and lead Design for Safety meetings with Architects, Engineers and Designers to discuss design hazards and corresponding control measures
- Complete and update Design Risk Register, Design for Safety Register and other documentation for handover
- Keep track of progress of design/construction work
- Any other duties assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, good knowledge and management role on QESH systems.
- Experience in getting Safety Award
- Attended the DfS for Professional Course and passed the assessment, or equivalent, and either.
- Experience in design and construction management of transit projects.
- Trained in hazard identification and risk assessment methodology.
