IT Executive/Senior Executive

Allkin is looking for highly skilled and purpose driven IT professionals to be the backbone of the agency's tech operations, providing our staff with well-designed, high quality, dependable and secure IT solutions for ease and efficiency; and by doing so enabling the agency to fulfil its mission of creating opportunities for people to build a brighter future.

We are looking for candidates with a mix of skills to handle both Infrastructure and End User Support and with experience executing projects in-house and working through external vendors. The ideal candidate would be a multi-skilled generalist with deep expertise in at least one particular specialization coupled with a high learning agility to adapt, pick-up new capabilities and self-develop to new levels.


The responsibilities and duties would involve a mix of some of the below:

  • User Support and Management on all deployed MS 365 applications with aim for effective and quick problem resolution
  • MS 365 Environment management (accounts, licenses, security settings and enforcement); monitoring performance and implementing optimizations
  • Helpdesk Management including coordination of third-party service providers, monitoring of metrics and SLA achievement and implementing improvements
  • IT Onboarding/Offboarding for new staff/departing staff - hardware and software provisioning and collection/disabling upon exit; IT briefings and trainings on usage and security policies etc
  • Asset tracking including documentation across lifecycle from procurement to disposal
  • IT Security including roll-out of agency policies, audit, risk assessment and corrective actions
  • Network Infrastructure Management ensuring reliable, secure connectivity across sites
  • Cloud Computing and Server Administration to ensure scalability, availability and security of cloud-based resources balanced with cost effectiveness
  • Identity and Access Management (User accounts, permissions, rights)
  • Data Management and Security ensuring backup and restoration strategies are in place, enterprise security tools deployed
  • Support setup of new office locations and upgrades or renovations; including planning, budget, implementation/commissioning
  • Collaboration and management of 3rd party providers to oversee service delivery, performance metrics, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)

Other duties in support of main responsibilities such as (but not limited to), participation in projects, support of agency events, purchasing administration and documentation.


Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; Diploma holders with more than 4 years relevant experience will be considered.
  • Well versed with MS 365 Environment and Applications.
  • Experienced with managing helpdesk services and 3rd party providers
  • Proficiency in networking technologies such as SD-WAN, UTM, VLANs, and wireless technologies.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment yet independent, resourceful with bias for action and getting things done; open to taking on new challenges and acquiring new knowledge
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) and relevant IT technologies is desirable
  • Proven track record in IT project management and coordination
