- Ensure that all procurement carried out by the Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL) adheres to processes and procedures in accordance to the guidelines, procedures and policy.
- Guide the TAL business units in procurement matters and familiarise them with the procurement policies and guidelines through regular briefings and communications.
- Partner TAL’s departments in their procurement journey by guiding them in the preparation of Invitation to Quote (ITQ) and tender processes such as needs / specifications, evaluation criteria, terms and conditions of contracts and monitoring of contract performance.
- Review and conduct analysis of procurement transactions and identify opportunities for synergising the transactions from different business units and contribute to procurement productivity.
- Ensure efficient use of TAL’s resources through centralised contracts (e.g. contract variation, expiry, approval, proper approval matrix, exercise option to review etc.)
- Initiate, monitor and review supplier performances prior to end or renewal of contract.
- Prepare ad hoc procurement reports for analytic purposes and identification of sourcing or cost saving opportunities.
Job requirements:
- 3 -5 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably familiar with procurement practices in the public service.
- Good communication skills.
- Good writing and presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Proficient in IT skills such as Microsoft Office.
- Team player.
