What the role is:
Contract period: May 2024 to Nov 2024
What you will be working on:
• Supports finance operations, including administration, handling enquiries, collection, billings, debtor management, maintaining records, month-end closing and year-end closing, reconciliations, preparation of adjusting entries and financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Liaises and works closely with stakeholders on finance operations, both internal and external.
• Supports audit matters.
• Liaises and works closely with system support on system issues.
• Ensures compliance to policies and procedures for finance operations.
• Manage and execute other administrative tasks, duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What we are looking for:
• Qualification in Accounting.
• Able to communicate effectively, both written and spoken.
• Resourceful and meticulous.
• Possesses good time management, demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Independent and strong team player. Proactive and works effectively under pressure.
• Savvy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
