It is looking for two Painting Supervisor cum Inspector.

Painting Supervisor cum Inspector
Responsibilities
• Comply with the specifications, control and monitoring the activities
• Responsible for quality control of all painting works, including standards and procedures etc.
• Prepare documentation like painting procedures, ITP, galvanizing procedures, or any other procedures specified by clients
• Review painting specifications from paint manufacturer
• Take the ambient conditions in the chamber and modules with proper intervals and keep records
• Arrange qualification test for Blasters/Painters and certify them
• Check for calibration date of the measuring device, to arrange for recalibrationif it expires
• Inspection notification to be sent to respective clients on time
• Pre-inspect modules at each stage and ensure quality meets the specification
• Prepare painting reports on time with approval from clients
• Coordinate with external party for technical details
Requirements
• Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations in the same field
• Prefer with NACE Level II Coating Inspector certified
• Knowledge of blasting and painting operation
• Understand and able to interpret technical drawing and paint specification
• Detailed understanding of contractual, commercial, safety, technical, quality aspects and their application
• Able to work under pressure and respond to changes in short notice

Permanent - 5.5 days’ work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm

- Monthly Basic Salary will be based on skill and exp.
