Job Description
- Liaise with Engineers, RTO, sub-contractors on day-to-day operations and technical issues.
- Supervise construction of structural & architectural works as per drawings / details.
- Ensure work done compliance with design, specifications, safety requirements and related local statutory regulations.
- Ensure good quality of works and manage defects rectifications.
- Monitoring the site progress as per targeted schedules.
- Reporting to Project Manager / Site Manager on site progress status.
- Assist in the materials order, receipt and control of all material on site.
- Responsible for the day to day, safe and efficient operation of the construction activities on site.
- Monitor, analyse and arrange manpower according to the ongoing works on site.
- Responsible for safe work environment and safety procedure adherence.
- Ferry workers to and from their dormitories to designated workplaces.
- Delivery and collect materials from supplier/contractors on time.
- Adhere to allocated driving schedule, timing and being punctual in sending passengers to assigned destinations.
- Maintaining the vehicles’ safety and cleanliness – regularly checking on vehicle tyres, brakes, turn signals etc.
- Reporting delays, accidents and emergencies to the operations team if any.
- Perform other related ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree, Diploma or equivalent or relevant job experience of minimum 5 years.
- Class 3 driving license, with good driving record.
- Familiar with Singapore roads/route.
- Possess BCSS certificate.
- Preferably able to start work within short notice.
- Responsible, punctual, committed, reliable and Positive working attitude.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to be on standby during off days and after office hours when required.
- Able to do over-time work on short notice.
- 5.5 days work per week.
