Job description
As an WHS Officer, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limit to:-
1. Plan and implement Health, Safety Environment & Security (HSE&S) for the site
2. To prepare and implement for external audit including authorities’ inspection.
3. Implement changes to HSE&S procedures to improve compliance
4. Monthly reporting and coordination between project and South Korea Headquarters
5. To share and properly educate HSE&S information from Headquarters to site staff and workers
6. Investigate key of incidents/ accidents on sites, identify the root causes and implement preventive and/or corrective measures
7. Provide guidance and support to key personnel on safety knowledge and updated information
8. Implement the Company’s HSE&S Policy Management system
9. Analyze HSE&S statistics and documentation, to be competent in risk assessment planning, communication and implementation
10. Interface directly with Client concerning HSE&S issues, ensure correct handling of non-conformances and corrective actions
11. Work closely with the team for engineering solutions that are as low as reasonably practical (ALARP)
12. Provide appropriate advices and trainings for preventing Health, Safety and Environment related accidents, and give investigation trainings for staff and workers
13. Perform other related duties as assigned by WSHM
14. To arrange weekly PGI and regular/irregular site inspection requested by LTA (Client)
15. To review and comment on Risk Assessment plan attached on Method Statements
Job Requirements:
Degree in Civil or relevant Engineering
Min. 5 years’ experience
Registered with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and have at least three (3) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the Contracts.
Upon LTA approval.
