My client - one of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Legal Counsel to be part of their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions.
Office Location: Central Singapore
1-year renewable contract
Salary: Up to $12,500
Responsibilities
- To support the Legal & Compliance function with accountability for the coordination of all legal & compliance activities with regards to key ethics and compliance areas for the businesses
- Act as a business partner to various business units to support and advance goals by supporting governance and compliance related advice
- Ensuring that all applicable internal SOPs and external standards/requirements are being met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in law and qualified in a Commonweath jurisdiction
- 3+ years' legal work experience with a mix of private practice and inhouse, preferably within FMCG, pharma, life sciences, medical devices, energy or healthcare
- Team player, willingness to learn and driven
- Strong Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
