About Our Client
Our client is one of the fastest growing Real Estate IT Services Management company that has made a number of strategic acquisitions and investments, emerging as a market leader in global economic hubs across Asia and Europe. Their agile and multi-tenant business model has ensured that they stay competitive with diversified and differentiated assets. Aggressive expansion and potential IPO plans, the team is looking for a Finance Director with complex consolidation exposure to execute this business strategy.
Job Description
Reporting to the Group Finance Head, you will:
- Oversee consolidation process for over 50 entities under the Group, including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures
- Review group financial statements and analyse performance, provide insights to C-suite leaders
- Business partner with Technical Accounting team to align group policies, integration of new markets
- Manage a team of 2 headcounts in Singapore, promote collaboration and strategic organisation of in country finance teams to accelerate closing processes
- Continual review of inter-company matrix, streamline reporting via system implementation on SAP S4 HANA
- Advise and evaluate financial implication strategic acquisitions, IPO plans
- Lead SEA Finance Shared Services team, promote strong internal control and smooth transition to US GAAP reporting
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting/Business with at least 10 years of experience working in a Group finance/consolidation capacity
- Qualified accountant with prior external audit working experience with a Big 4/professional accounting firm
- Strong technical application of accounting standards, IFRS, US GAAP, SEC Reporting, PCAOB etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident to front conversations with key stakeholders
- Tenacity to excel and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Strategic leading with a solutions-oriented approach when faced with challenges
