Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspiring face to face customer visits in collaboration with the Sales Force and Key Accounts Managers
o Customer contact (Call & visit) up to 40%.
- Understand customer technical challenges and transform them into technical solutions
- Establish and participate to the design of connectivity solutions with a strong cable harness system contribution.
- Collaborate with engineers from the global footprint (Design, Electronics, SI, Logistics, etc) to develop and review technical solutions that implement the customer’s needs.
- Generate technical drawings and create commercial proposal together with the Sales Team
- Manage projects from development until hand-over to Operations depending on complexity
- Supervise new (complex and key-account) products from conception over development and prototyping through first production, in collaboration with the dedicated Project Manager
- Keep up to date with advancing and improving technologies (products, processes and manufacturing capabilities)
- Nurture our solutions portfolio
- Improve work flow and tools to optimize connectivity solutions offers
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines such as microtechnology or electrical engineering.
- Background or proven experience in new product development is a plus
- Experience in Customer facing activities
- Experience in CAD software
- Experience in ERP software (SAP)
- Knowledge in one or several of the following is welcome: connectivity, cable technology, electronics, signal integrity, fiber optic.
- Demonstrate strong interest to new product development
- Good communication skills to develop trust communication channel with customers
- Team player, open to inter-company discussions and lean communication among departments
- Rigorous, structured and analytical
- Problem-solving attitude and troubleshooting skills during development phase and initial manufacturing phase
