Overview:
We are seeking a professional Solution Architect to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for complex IT solutions. The Solution Architect will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, project managers, and development teams, to ensure the proposed technical solutions align with the overall architecture roadmap and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solution architectures that encompass software, hardware, network, and security components to meet business requirements.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with proposed solutions, and make recommendations to address potential issues.
- Solution Integration: Evaluate third-party products and services for integration into the overall solution architecture, and design interfaces to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and design documents.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 15 years of relevant technical working experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise solutions in architecture and/ or consultancy role.
- Experience in various IT technologies, standards and languages, in particular web technologies, web services, mobile development, Java, and .Net.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and methodologies as well as agile.
- Strong technical knowledge with an enterprise perspective
- Experience in designing B2C, B2B, mobile solutions
- Preferably have knowledge and experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Cloud technologies particularly on Microsoft Azure, AWS and/ or GCP.
- Strong analytical capability, able to pick up new skills and domains quickly.
- Able to communicate with all levels and a good team player
- Able to see both the bigger picture as well as go into details when necessary.
