Technical Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the business unit, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Allocate resources effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage workload to ensure timely project delivery and achievement of key milestones.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects within the business unit, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and optimize resource utilization.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, and production to drive product development initiatives from conception to commercialization.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototype testing, and validation to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction across manufacturing operations.
- Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with key customers, understand their requirements, and provide technical support and solutions to address their needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive collaboration and foster long-term business partnerships.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems (QMS) to uphold product integrity and safety.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on technical management and leadership roles.
- Strong technical expertise in semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership capabilities with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
