Pertinent Law LLP is seeking a dedicated individual to join us as a Assistant, Storage and Document Scanning.
You will be responsible for managing physical and digital documents within the organization. Your primary duties will include scanning and storing documents securely.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize scanning equipment to digitize paper documents accurately and efficiently.
- Categorize scanned documents according to predefined criteria and ensure proper indexing for easy retrieval.
- Conduct quality checks on scanned documents to ensure readability and accuracy. Resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems to facilitate easy access to documents.
- Assist colleagues in retrieving specific documents as needed, both physically and digitally.
- Adhere to strict security protocols to safeguard sensitive information. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on scanning equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move boxes of documents.
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and operating scanning equipment may be required.
- No relevant experience in document scanning and record management required, training will be provided.
