The Administration Director is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions within the organization, including budget management, human resources, facilities, and operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of educational policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization.
Contract duration: 1 year, convertible
Working hour: Mon to Thur (8.30am to 5.45pm) and Fri (8.30am to 5.15pm)
Salary up to $11,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Supervise and manage a team of administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Oversee the budgeting and financial management of the administrative department, including monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Manage the procurement of supplies and equipment needed for the organization
- Handle employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution as needed
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to administrative functions
- Act as a liaison between senior management and administrative staff to communicate organizational goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognized university and with at least 15 years of working experience.
- Preferably at least 8 years of experience in a senior managerialrole or in operations management and a proven record of excellent performance
- Prior administrative experience in an institute of higher learning will be an added advantage.
- Strong in strategic thinking and has an analytical mind
- Strong operational experience, IT savvy and proven managerial experience in strategic planning and financial budgeting planning
- Excellent collaborative and leadership skills
- Confident and proactive with demonstrated dynamism and resourcefulness in problem solving.
- Highly adaptable and self-motivated with lots of initiative to take on new challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build a sense of community within the school.
