Working hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
• Laboratory evaluation in water-based decorative paints and industrial coating systems.
• Performance study and benchmark for thickeners, rheology modifiers, surfactants and defoamers.
• Competition additive analysis, market understanding, and discovery for new product values.
• Support technical service in root cause analysis and evaluation for performance benchmark.
• Design experiment and testing parameters based on sales requests and project objectives.
• Prepare experimental prototypes, conduct a series of lab testing, and interpret test results.
• Generate laboratory results to prepare technical reports and launch packages to support new product launch
• Other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical industry or related fields.
• At least 1-2 years of paint and coating experience in water-based paint making or related industries in wet lab operation.
