Job Overview
Ensures that all products of the company meet consistent standards. Plan and implement quality control tests. Also inspect at various stages in production and formulate reports on their key findings to strike the best solution as and when needed.
Responsibility and Duties
- Overall, in-charge of the QC Department and its adherence to the QHSE System Procedures.
- Settle quality issues with customers.
- Keep, control, and confirm formulation and blending procedures including new products in the OASIS System.
- Participate in the root cause analysis and in the formulation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Approve affected nonconforming lot disposition in the absence of Plant Manager or Business Head.
- Confirm and provide resources for the laboratory and other QC needs.
- NCF report coordination and monitoring.
- Coordinate nonconforming product for recall to Production, Plant Manager and Production Admin.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive actions as instructed.
Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in Science (preferably Chemistry) or Chemical Process Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years QC experience in chemical manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
