Responsibility and Duties
- Overall, in-charge in the Plant, including the team’s adherence to the QHSE Procedures and Work instructions.
- Responsible for planning the resources needed like the material requirement, production schedules, delivery to customers and store management.
- Liaises with the QA and QC Department in enforcing any corrective action.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Initiate, Formulate and implement corrective actions to address the root cause of a nonconforming product or a customer complaint.
- Enforce and monitor effectiveness of solutions or corrective actions with QA.
- Participate in the selecting, assessing, and approving of material/product suppliers in the absence of the purchasing manager.
- Review and Issue Work Instruction or SOP’s.
- Participate in the NCF discussion and confirm NCF report.
Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Production, Operations etc. in the Chemical industry with 3 years of supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of Chemical Plant Management and ESH regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
