Job Summary:
The Senior Manager is responsible for the overall management and strategy of the Warehouse, including Transportation and Order Processing function in support of the stockpile operation as dictated by the authority/customer. He/She drives strategic initiatives, large-scale implementation projects and interventions, and sets the direction of the warehouse’s business continuity and planning.
He/She is a strategic advocate, sensitive to customers’ needs, and is pro-active to deliver results and persuasive to obtain buy-in among internal and external stakeholders. Being resourceful and systematic, he/she exercises active management of business resources, manpower, internal assets and external partners to drive profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Optimization: Drive and expand recurring revenue streams in line with organizational objectives, ensuring prompt collection and sustainable revenue, particularly during pandemic periods.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies effectively. Focusing on communication and front-end development.
- Business Continuity: Lead the development of business continuity plans and succession management for critical roles, ensuring financial resilience.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and long-term planning to achieve organizational growth objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Identify and address operational issues through feedback mechanisms, driving continuous improvement.
- Safety and Compliance: Set and manage the organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) strategy to ensure compliance.
- Transformational Leadership: Lead organizational transformation projects and program development initiatives.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders from public and private sectors.
Qualifications:
- Min Bachelor’s degree in any Logistics / Supply Chain related field.
- 10 years of experience in healthcare / pharmaceuticals logistics operations preferred, with a proven track record of revenue optimization and stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with ability to to drive organizational change and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance management in healthcare logistics operations would be an added advantage.
