- It is an opportunity for an experienced VP, Distribution Compliance to join their team
The Job
- Assist in the identification of Distribution Compliance risk change and potential impacts on INSP business model.
- Assist in program implementation to quantify impacts and implement actions to address, manage and mitigate impacts of regulatory changes on INSP.
- Provide compliance advisory in respect of all market conduct matters specified to the tied agency, and review RCA as per the NFR framework. Support in the assessment of new initiatives and drive conduct agenda in consultation with the business.
- Monitor and track regulatory dissemination and implementation of such regulations across all relevant risk taxonomies and assist in the preparation of relevant papers for different committees including Board risk committee.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholder within Insurance in Singapore, other Global Business and Functional teams to provide support on Distribution Compliance related matters, under the guidance of the team lead
- Ensure the appropriate timely and relevant risk information collated and documented
- Proactive engagement with Business and support on Distribution Compliance matters and advisory
- Assist in the alignment of INSP operating practices with changes in Global Regulatory Compliance Standards
The Talent
- Experienced compliance practioner in the insurance industry are preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements/expectations under the FAA, SFA, Fair Dealing guidelines and the associated notices issued, including those issued by LIA with regard to life and health insurance businesses on the market conduct requirements, will be crucial in this role.
- Self driven with a strong eye on details, perseverance in meeting goals set, analytical mind, strong communication and inter-personal skills, are attributes required for the success of this role.
