Role Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales initiatives and achieving sales targets in the automotive logistics segment. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with identifying new business opportunities, preparing sales proposals and participating in tenders.
- Meet and achieve targeted KPI and Budget
- Build relationship with new prospective lead.
- Find cold leads to bring in new sales (hunter) for logistics and supply chain custom clearance.
- Explore business opportunities with new customers (100%) of the company to expand logistics business
- Increase and expand company market share and service provided
- Understand customer needs to provide quality service upon successful sales closing
- Participate in tenders
- Build relationship with all suppliers and vendors to establish good reputation and rate
- Coordinate with all departments locally or internationally within the group to establish group goal of door to door supply chain services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or a related field
- 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive logistics/ media sales/ automotive parts warehousing
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Existing business pipelines and connections will be a plus.
