About Our Client
Our client is a leading US Listed medical device company with a strong global footprint. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they strive to improve healthcare outcomes globally. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional FP&A Manager to join their APAC HQ, drive financial planning and analysis initiatives across the APAC region.
Job Description
- Lead the development, analysis, and interpretation of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for the APAC region.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Head of APAC and other key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze sales performance, pricing strategies, and service revenue to drive profitability and optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare and oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the APAC region, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecast, and work with business units to develop corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive efficiency within the FP&A function.
- Partner with other departments such as Accounting, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and consistency in financial planning and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and services operations, including revenue recognition principles and sales performance metrics.
- Proven track record of partnering with commercial teams to drive business growth and profitability.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
