Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of petroleum and gas shipments via maritime transport.
- Implement policies, plans, commercial programs and vessel performance for chartered vessels.
- Ensure strict adherence to international maritime safety standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Utilize data to assess the performance of maritime operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of maritime professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chartering/ship management, with a focus on petroleum and gas shipping.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics and coordination activities.
