About Our Client
Our client is a manufacturer and marketer of non-prescription drugs and healthcare products. Headquartered in the US, with operations in 14 countries, manufacturing out in 26 locations around the globe and distributing in over 150 countries. They are now looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to work with Marketing Manager in developing annual brand plans and key programmes.
Job Description
- Responsible for assigned brand P&L which include managing Sales and A&P to deliver agreed operating income.
- Monitor sales and brand performance on monthly basis. Helps identify causes of deviance business performance and gap closing plans.
- Execute brand plans to meet timeline and on budget, collaborating cross functionally (from sales, regional office, QA & stakeholders). This includes creative execution of launch plans, develop & execute out-of-the-box tactical consumer activations / promotions, evaluate post-program's performance.
- Have a working understanding of digital marketing and work with agencies to create and implement digital marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email, Mobile, Display)
- Manage New Product packaging development & stock forecasting, working with regional team and regulatory affairs.
- Optimise relationships with external agencies (creative, media & online agencies), strategic partners, and suppliers to achieve brand objectives. Develop and brief agency for brand (online and offline) /trade programs for brand activation.
- Monitor and follow-up on competitor activities tracking (new products/new counters/new packaging), and translate understanding into actions in market.
- Work effectively with regional team and internal key stakeholders to conduct new product feasibility studies undertake pipeline management of New Products to influence local inputs for local launch.
- Work effectively with media, stakeholders and influencers to ensure brand is well-positioned for Public Relations purpose.
- Manage and optimize budget for the brand, including negotiation with suppliers and partners, and collaboration with other country leads to leverage on common utilities.
- Helps implementation of consumer closeness research.
The Successful Applicant
- About 5 years of experience in brand management in the FMCG/Skincare/Beauty sector
- Able to deliver on time, in full and within budget
- Good aesthetic flair for marketing promotion campaigns and interest in beauty care category
- Competent analytical and communication skills to analyse trends and present to senior stakeholders
