Job Responsibilities
- Thoroughly test various functional modules of mobile game products to identify and document bugs, glitches and performance issues.
- Proactive communication with relevant personnels in the project team, promptly follow up on defects/ bug fixes and complete the closed-loop to ensure the smooth release of the project.
- Write and execute test plans and test cases for specific project modules, and submit relevant test reports.
- Based on the characteristics of the overall development team, formulate reasonable and efficient testing processes and continuously optimize them.
- Develop and improve specialized testing processes and standards, including but not limited to testing of complex gameplay functions - interface testing, backend testing, performance testing, stress testing, and compatibility testing.
- Provide feedbacks on game mechanics, gameplay and overall user experience
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Have relevant work experience in software testing, eg: Chess / Card Games
- Familiar with software testing processes and experience in creating and executing test cases. Experience with testing chess and card games projects is best preferred.
- Clear and rigorous thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for chess and card games, ability to quickly familiarize oneself and explore the characteristics of games, adept at identifying game defects, and pointing out product deficiencies.
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent collaboration skills.
- Good decent literacy and communication skills in both English and Chinese is vital as close collaboration within the team will be required.
- Comfortable communicating in Mandarin and English within our team
- Strong attention to details and committed to meeting deadlines
