Job summary
In charge of acquiring various indirect spend categories and meeting the needs of NSCs, this role holds strategic procurement responsibilities for both Singapore and international operations. This includes overseeing activities related to Retail, Digital, Experiential Marketing, Logistics, Professional Services, Training (for retailers and employees), Stationery, PR, Sales, Customer Service, Facility Management, and more.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the local purchasing operations in Singapore and overseas operations
• Achieve cost savings aligned with annual targets for the region
• Establish and execute effective purchasing procedures
• Supervise supplier relationships and performance
• Uphold compliance with key KPIs, SLAs, and contract commitments
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Conduct market analysis for potential sourcing opportunities
• Familiarity with the SAP purchasing process
• Ensure audit compliance across all purchasing activities
Requirements
• Degree in Business or equivalent, with 5 years indirect procurement experience
•Demonstrate strong negotiation skills
• Background in sourcing marketing and sales services
• Advantageous to have international purchasing experience
• Proven track record of achieving successful commercial outcomes
• Showcase category management skills
• Capable of both independent work and collaboration within a cross-functional team
• Familiarity with SAP MM and SAP Ariba is a plus
• Proficient in Mandarin for effective communication with Chinese-speaking overseas vendors
