Job Description:
- Source and develop new supplier and product according to the Objective received from the buying team
- Identify best in class suppliers in the region in line with Company’s policy to offer best value to the business
- Expand the sourcing footprint outside of China
- Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up. Payment terms negotiation and supplier set up, on time shipment & Critical Path management. Supplier evaluation
- Communicate with Sourcing team in the US and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule
- Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging teams
- Organize and work on Buying Trip with Sourcing team from US
- The candidate will need to demonstrate a relevant expertise in Consumables, Health, and Beauty Care
Previous experience in a large US Sourcing/Buying office would be preferred
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Consumables, Health, and Beauty Care industry
- Less experienced candidate will be considered as Junior Sourcing Specialist
- US retail market knowledge
- Experience in large sourcing/buying office. Good sourcing network in China, South East Asia and India
- Familiar with regulatory requirements for US market
- Familiar with supply chain optimization process
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Proficient knowledge of Excel PIVOT table and VLOOKUP functions would be preferred
