The Client:
Our Client is one of the world's largest land transport companies, established more than 20 years in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely submission of financial and management reports.
- Ensure statutory reporting complies with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Manage tax compliance and accounting for CIT and indirect taxes.
- Control SG&A expenditures within budget.
- Uphold corporate governance standards.
- Establish internal controls for business processes.
- Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors.
- Design and improve finance systems and policies.
- Oversee finance systems and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets.
- Support ERP system rollout.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance, with CPA/ CA/ ACCA certification.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, inclusive of 3 years in big 4 accounting firms.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Excellent accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with SAP and Oracle systems is good to have.
