Job Description:
- Take charge and supervise the fire protection team, providing necessary guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Formulate and enforce fire protection strategies, standards, and policies according to industry regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments and contractors to devise fire protection plans tailored to project requirements.
- Ensure all fire protection systems in facilities remain operational through routine inspections and testing.
- Develop and implement fire safety training programs for facility staff and workers.
- Stay abreast of developments in fire protection systems, codes, and standards to keep the team informed.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to codes and regulations.
- Offer technical assistance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders as needed.
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems.
- Monitor budgets closely and provide regular reports to the Director of Facilities Management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Manage relationships with clients.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferably possess 5 or 3 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, focusing on fire protection.
- Strong grasp of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams of engineers and technicians.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities to devise innovative solutions.
- Previous experience with LTA/Tunnel projects is desirable.
