- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project. (2-3 projects)
- Liaison with clients, designer and consultant on design specification and work feasibility
- Liaison with logistics and machinery department
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on project
- Lead and manage project team to complete project in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Keep track of project performance, analyze successful completion of long and short term goals
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Ensure effective manpower allocated to work location
- Inspect construction works to ensure work is done according to approved specifications
- Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor cost
- Ensure approval obtained from relevant authorities prior to work commencement
- Conduct periodic site inspection on safety compliance
Education and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent, OR
- Specialist Diploma in Construction Management, OR
- Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity
Certifications
- Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health (Previously “Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS)” Course)
- WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation
- Registered Earthworks Supervisor
