We are looking for a Compliance Executive/Senior Compliance Executive, who will work closely with the Regional Chief Compliance Officer (RCCO) and regional compliance teams to help implement and monitor compliance programmes across Nippon Sanso Holdings group companies in SEA + India and assist the RCCO in implementing compliance initiatives at Nippon Sanso Holdings Singapore Pte. Ltd. (the company) to ensure that our business operations are conducted ethically, transparently and in accordance with relevant regulations, laws, standards and guidelines. On-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help implement compliance activities and initiatives within the company and the SEA + India region (including annual compliance programs, compliance activities and periodical compliance training) and monitoring of progress status.
- Conduct research on identified compliance areas of focus and develop training materials and infographics.
- Support RCCO in the development and review of compliance policies and procedures, reporting activities, drafting and review of documents of a legal nature.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and news of non-compliance cases.
- Provide secretariat support such as arranging of meetings, taking notes, handling of program logistics and ppt preparation.
- Upkeep and maintain repository of compliance records and documents.
Requirements:
- Diploma in any of these courses from a polytechnic in Singapore: Diploma in Law & Management, Paralegal Studies or Legal Executive Studies; or Bachelor of Arts / Social Sciences
- Worked in paralegal position or HR position for three to five years. Mid-career individuals who are looking for a switch in careers are welcome to apply
- Analytical and strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in MS Office Suite and comfortable with using virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams/ZOOM), and is willing to learn the use of creative software tools (i.e. Powtoon, Canva) and basic video-editing tools
