What you will be working on.
• Support student finance operations in billing, receipting and disbursement related processes
• Support month-end account closing in a timely manner
• Liaise and work closely with internal and external parties on financial operations including:
o Accounting of receipts from funding agencies
o System support on finance system and perform user testing
o Auditors on finance related matters
• Monitor outstanding items/issues pending resolutions
• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures for finance operations
• Review existing procedures and recommend updates when appropriate
• Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by supervisor
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of experience in supporting accounting services
• Qualifications in Accounting
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skills
• High adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team and work independently
• Proactive and able to work effectively under pressure and during peak period
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
