The Role
Provide quality nursing care to patients undergoing radiology examinations and procedures, including patient education, pre-procedure preparation, and post procedure patient monitoring
Job Responsibilites
1. Provides nursing services to patients according to protocol and standards.
2. Assist doctors in procedures ensure pre, peri and post nursing standards are adhered to.
3. To ensure familiarization of use and correct handing of nursing equipment to avoid incorrect usage of equipment.
4. To conduct necessary quality assurance tests before equipment is used on patients.
5.To participate in quality improvement projects to ensure continuous improvement in quality of work.
6. Work closely with radiographers and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
7. Provide quality customer service to patients.
8. To ensure compliance to radiation safety policy
9. Other assignments when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent and recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board
- Has a valid BCLS&AED Cert
- Able to perform all clinical competencies in accordance with the licensure requirements
- Able to communicate with patients from all backgrounds
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, such as answering patients’ queries, administration of procedures and manage timeline
- Able to work office hours, and perform on-call duties.
